New Day Care Service at Quebec Hall

It is current Government Policy to support senior citizens in ways that both encourage them to stay in their own homes for as along as possible and deter moving into permanent residential care. Whilst there is nothing intrinsically wrong with this approach, indeed many retired folk prefer it, there are still issues surrounding loneliness, difficulties with the preparation of meals and the need for assistance with bathing etc.

We feel there is a real need in this area for retired Christians who are faced with coping with these problems. As a result we have decided to provide a day care service in a warm and welcoming Christian environment where fellowship with other Christians can be enjoyed and both physical and spiritual needs can be met.

Any retired Christians are welcome to join us from 10.00 in the morning up to 18.30 in the evening, a cooked dinner and tea will be provided at 13.15 and 17.15 respectively, in addition morning coffee and biscuits are served at 11.00 and afternoon tea at 15.30. During the morning we can also provide a supported bathing service in our hoist equipped bathroom if required. We currently charge 50.00 and £75 for more high dependant Day Care Residents and if bath's are required 10.00 per bath.
